Torah Tots

Sunday- First Session
For learners 2.5 – 4 years old
9am-11am

Torah Tots is an introductory program that offers our youngest learners their first taste of a Jewish classroom setting.
Participating in Torah Tots is a great way for the entire family to make life long Jewish friends, getting to know clergy and teachers, and becoming part of the synagogue community!

  • Tots in our 2.5-3’s class are invited to join us with a parent/guardian once per month on Sundays from October – May.

Each class will be planned according to the community-wide theme or holiday for each month. A few examples of these themes are: Mishpachot (family), Teamwork, and Tu B’Shevat- a holiday in which we celebrate the “Birthday for Trees”. Additionally, all Torah Tot classes spend 20 minutes of each week with a music specialist learning Jewish pre-school tunes.

Torah Tots meet in our Child Development Center classrooms which are equipped with appropriate sized furniture and in-class bathroom. Students receive a small snack each week, but parents are encouraged to pack a water bottle.

Tots must turn 2.5 by October 1, 2018

  • Tots in our 4’s class are invited to join us on all religious school Sundays from September – May.

In alignment with the elementary themes of Torah, Gimilut Chasadim (acts of loving-kindness), Israel, and the Jewish holidays through books, games, songs & crafts, this program will start students on their Jewish journey. Additionally, all Torah Tot classes spend 20 minutes of each week with a music specialist learning Jewish pre-school tunes.
