Tzedakah is crucial, but no less crucial are g’milut chasidim, acts of loving kindness, and personal service. The High Holy Day prayer book tells us that these are the things that changes our “decree” for the New Year. When you offer your time and talent to the CBI community, the community is enriched by your caring presence, and you are enriched through new friendships and a deepened sense of community.
With our website, we hope that you’ll find ways to support CBI, not only with donations, but with the donation of your time. Browse through the site, see what interests you and let us know how you want to be involved.
The staff and board of trustees of Congregation Beth Israel are always looking for additional assistance in implementing our strategic plan, performing the every day and special activities at CBI.
Contact Harold Wilensky with your talent, and we’ll find a job for you!
