CBI Family Retreat

 

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

CBI’s 2018 Family Retreat at Greene Family Camp will start during late afternoon/early evening on Friday, November 16 and will conclude Sunday morning, November 18. As always, it promises to be a weekend full of fun, rest, community, and learning for the whole family. Registration is required. Please register by October 31.  Cost is $150 for adults, $90 for students, age 4 and under are free.

6:00-7:15pm Shabbat blessings and dinner  
7:15-8:15pm Shabbat services for kids and adults  
8:15-8:45pm Oneg Shabbat, desserts, schmoozing  
8:30-9:15pm Stargazing walk with Sarah Avner Stargazing in a dark sky. Bring star maps and star apps.

Jammin’ and Drinkin’ with Dave B.

Fun board games with counselors
Sing along with Dave–folk & rock tunes by request–and maybe drink a bit, too. BYOB.

Chanukah story hour


Creating Modern Midrash

Compete against other families in fun and silly games
Listen to some great Chanukah books along with quite reading and coloring.

Join Rabbi Levy and study this week’s portion through a completely different lens.  Use Midrash, the interpretive stories, to further explain our Torah and find hidden gems. Using text, art, dance, and music. For all ages. Adult supervision required.
