In an interactive setting, participants are introduced to the Hebrew Alef-Bet, vowels, essential pronunciation, and sight-reading. Prayerbook Hebrew
Tuesdays, 7-8pm, Fall dates to be announced soon

In the Prayerbook Hebrew class we will study and discuss some of the most important prayers in our service. For each prayer, we will begin with basic decoding, and then move on to discuss the meaning and some different interpretations. We will also work on fluency and learn some basic Hebrew grammar along the way. During the fall series,r we will work on the Sh’ma section of the service: Ma’ariv Aravim, Yotzer Or, Sh’ma, and V’ahavta. Taught by Becca Taute.
