What is a Chavurah?
A Chavurah is a small group of temple members who gather to learn, socialize and enjoy Jewish life together. A Chavurah has many different looks, and can include adults, families, couples, or singles who are committed to building a unique bond, an “extended family” at CBI.
What does a Chavurah do?
Each Chavurah is unique and decides on its own blend of Jewish experiences. Chavurah can focus on study, observance of holidays together, socializing (dinners, etc.) and sharing simchas. Each group is unique in working towards developing a meaningful experience for those in that group.
When does a Chavurah meet?
Each Chavurah generally meets once a month. The group decides on specific dates and times convenient to the group.
How do I join a Chavurah?
