Services
Weekday Service
is an afternoon Service on Wednesdays at 5:45 PM that lasts about 30 minutes. It give people the opportunity to meet and worship in the chapel in a relaxed atmosphere and it is a nice way to end the first half of the workweek. The Gates of Prayer is used for this service.
Kabbalat Shabbat Service
are held at 6:30 PM on all Fridays This service tends to be more traditional in its music and liturgy. The last Friday of the month includes a reading of the Torah, with all those celebrating a simcha being called up for an aliyah. The Mishkan T'filah prayerbook is used for this service.
Classical Reform Service
is held on the first Friday of the month at 8:00 PM and is led by Rabbi LeBurkien in the chapel. This service harkens back to the beginnings of the Reform movement and presents the opportunity for worshipers to experience our past. The Union Prayerbook is used for this service
Tot Shabbat
Tot Shabbat is a Shabbat morning service for children from infants to five year olds. Held bi-monthly, the second and fourth Saturday of the secular month at 9:30 am. The service includes singing and story-telling followed by a snack,a craft and a play period. *Will resume on August 30.
Library Minyan
Start your Saturdays with coffee, bagels, and schmoozing followed by an intimate, relaxed, and participatory Shabbat morning service in the Library. Just finished your morning run? Feel free to come as you are. Got kids in tow? Bring them with you. Our lay service leaders make the service welcoming and relaxing. After the service, join the rest of the congregation for kiddush. The Library Minyan will meet in the library on the 3rd floor of the Learning Center at 10:30 every Saturday morning (except during the summer months or when there is a b'nei mitzvah).
