Sisterhood

Sisterhood is an energetic organization for generations of women that supports Congregation Beth Israel programs. We host monthly luncheons, brunches or teas, women's torah study, rosh hodesh, twice- a-month mah jongg and weekly yoga. We feed the congregation through early service dinners, Break Fast, Shabbaton, confirmation, Second Sixty, Empty Nesters, hot dog sales and more. We support the temple through our Judaica Shop, which helped send 20 kids to camp/Israel last year, and through donations, which help maintain the gardens, provide donations to the temple, buy supplies for the temple. We support the community through our award-winning Austin Children's Shelter program and Race for the Cure. We laugh, we learn, we build friendships, we have babysitting, we are for all women in the congregation.
